Asinara comes from one of Baron G Von Ullmann’s top German families; she
won her only two year old start, and only ever ran twice. Her half
brother, purchased for £240,000 by John Gosden on behalf of Sheik
Mohammed now called Ameer.
Ameer has run three times, won twice, and been placed in a Group 3.
He is now one of the fancied horses for the Investec 2010 Derby.
Asinara’s Grandam is dam of 8 winners from 8 runners, including 7 black
type horses. Again this filly is well made with plenty of bone and will
hopefully continue the family’s winning ways in black type races.
