Gagajulu won 5 races as a two year old when trained by David Evans. As a
mare she has bred 3 individual black type performers, her best foal
being Ardbrae Lady. Ardbrae Lady, by Overbury, was Group 1 placed at two
& three including second in the Irish 1000 guineas. Her first foal by
Galileo was sold as a yearling for £230,000, to go to Aiden O’Brien.
Before Ardbrae Lady, Gagajulu produced Obe Gold, who as a two year old
broke the course record when winning the Redcar two year old trophy.
Three days before this win he won a £30,000 nursery in Newmarket. His
total prize money stands at £362,132.
In 2008 Sheik Mohammed bought her Singspiel foal for £85,000. The
Multiplex filly is similar to these foals, she is strong, well grown and
a very athletic filly.
