4 JAN - Plans made for 2012
Lofty plans for RADIO GAGA as she will be entered in the English & French 1000 Guineas. Ed McMahon will give her a prep race to ensure she has the right level of ability before confirming we'll take in one of these races. Exciting times !

GENTLE SANDS will move yards for her 2012 campaign. She will now be trained by Ed McMahon. We hope she'll be a calmer filly this time around & thereby allow herself to show her true ability. If she does we'll have some fun in the summer.

Plenty to look forward to.

23rd OCT - Gaga grabs Black Type
Radio Gaga ran superby at Newmarket under a very determined ride by Richard Mullen to grab 3rd in the Listed Bosra Sham Fillies race to earn some black type. She was bumped at the start which, from a bad draw, wouldn't have helped but she battled very hard.

Next season could be very exciting as she needs another furlong, or two, and really hasn't had her ground yet.

18th OCT - Gaga to go to Newmarket
RADIO GAGA will get an entry for the Bosra Sham Listed race (6f) at Newmarket on Friday 28th. She remains in good form after her excellent 2nd in a tough nursery at York. Hopefully we'll get a shower of rain.

GENTLE SANDS who was disappointing at Salisbury when pulling far too hard has been roughed off for the season. Clive Cox hopes she'll come back a far more calm & mature horse next season. The talent is there but she needs to channel her enregy in the right direction.

5th OCT - Entry plans
RADIO GAGA has been declared on Friday (6f Nursery) but she will only race, with Graham Gibbons in the plate, if we have rain. It's a very competitive event but she should run well. GENTLE SANDS holds an entry at Salisbury on Monday in a 7f maiden. She enjoy thye step up in trip but may even want further. Small building blocks for her but we like her & she'll do well.

Gaga Re-routed
RADIO GAGA will miss Salisbury on Wednesday but, instead, will be aimed at a nursury at York on OCtober 7th.

GENTLE SANDS ran Ok at Haydock considering she was quite green and got tired. Clive was happy enough with her & she will now step up in trip to 7f next time.

22nd SEPT - Radio Gaga entered at Salisbury
RADIO GAGA holds an entry on Wednesday 28th at Salisbury in a 2yo conditions race. Ed McMahon will no doubt check the ground, the opposition, and her well being before committing but we hope she takes part. Her form from Haydock is working out well with the 2nd & 5th winning since.

21st SEPT - GENTLE SANDS RUNS AT HAYDOCK
GENTLE SANDS takes her place in the 6f fillies maiden at Haydock on Friday with good claimer John Fahy in the plate. John knows her from the yard so that's always an advantage. Clive says she is working nicely so we'll go there with hopes of a good run. She face 11 rivals with Riot Of Colour, after a good 2nd at Kempton, setting the standard. The race is sure to be informative & we wish Gentle Sands well on debut.

17th SEPT - Gentle Sands entered at Haydock
GENTLE SANDS has been entered into a 6f fillies maiden at Haydock on Friday 23rd. It's a good piece of placing as un-raced fillies get 4lbs from those who have had a run. Clive Cox is pleased with our filly and his yard are in good form.

16th SEPT - Radio Gaga's form franked
Good news today as ACCESSION (2nd at Haydock) hacked up at Newbury for Clive Cox to frank Radio Gaga's form. He was most impressive under Adam Kirby. The 3rd home from Newbury, Van Der Art, runs tomorrow in a nursery.

12th SEPT - Radio Gaga attempts to follow up
Ed McMahaon wants to next race RADIO GAGA at SALISBURY on Wednesday 28th September in a 6f conditions race. No chances will be taken on fast ground as we only just got away with it on her debut.

The stiff uphill finish will suit her as all she did at Haydock, which is much flatter & quicker, was stay on in the last furlong. She'll have learned a lot at Haydock but this is another step up in class. Hopefully she can cope. MOre details will follow as we get nearer to the entry stage.

5th SEPT Gentle Sands gets an entry
GENTLE SANDS will be given an entry in a 6f maiden at Haydock on Friday 23rd September. Clive is very happy with her right now so we are looking forward to her debut.

2nd SEPT - Radio Gaga wins at Haydock
What a start ! Radio Gaga won cosily today at Haydock under Graham Gibbons. Ed McMahon has done a super job so we could not be more pleased.

Graham felt she was flat out early but showed a good turn of foot when asked to quicken (and after suffering interference in her run) at the furlong pole. Graham was most impressed and we have a good future to look forward to.

No plans for her next race yet but a decision will be made next week

31 Aug - RADIO GAGA DECLARED AT HAYDOCK
Ed McMahon has declared RADIO GAGA to race at Haydock on Friday with Graham Gibbons in the plate. She has been working well at home and we expect a good run. However it must be noted it's her debut so she'll have amassive learbing curve in such a big field of maidens. She learn plenty and so will we.

Clive wants to get one more good bit of work into GENTLE SANDS and we could be looking for an entry for her. Clive says she looks great and is settling well at home.

27th AUG - Radio Gaga get her first entry
RADIO GAGA will get her first entry today for Haydock next Friday (2nd Sept) in a 6f maiden. She has been working nicely at home so Ed is very happy with her.

GENTLE SANDS has had a far better week which is encouraging, she is settling nicely in her work, so Clive is encouraged. She's certainly got plenty of talent but just needs to relax a bit.

8th AUG - UPDATE ON THE HORSES
RADIO GAGA is looking very well and working nicely at home reports trainer Ed McMahon. She is not far off an entry so we are starting to get excited. GENTLE SANDS is looking super but is tending to pull a bit at home which is making life difficult for Clive Cox. he will try some new bridles & bits to see what works best. She is certainly talented but needs to channel her enthusiam better.

1st JULY - RADIO GAGA
Our lovely looking Gagajulu filly has been named Radio Gaga. The idea came from breeder Richard Kent's wife, I'm told she is a massive Queen fan. Maybe we can get Brian May to ride on debut ?

21st June - the two horses are doing well
CLIVE COX reports GENTLE SANDS to be coming along very nicely at home. She worked well on Saturday (18th) and is pleasing him both mentally & physically. Clive thinks she'll be ready to race in 3 to 4 weeks time.

ED McMAHON says that the Gagajulu filly (she will be named next week) is growing fast and is already 16 hands, big & strong. She wouldn't be as far forward at the other filly but Ed is very happy with her progress. She will probably want a little cut & 7f so there is no rush with her.

20th June - Multiplex stats
It's expected that the 2yo offspring of Multiplex will be seen to best advantage over 6f & 7f, so opportunities have been limited so far this season, but the early indications are good for the blood line. From just 28 runs (8 individual horses) we have seen 17 of those placed 1st to 4th, with 3 individual winners.

At Royal Ascot the Pat Murphy trained Luv U Forever ran with great credit when 6th in the Gropu 3 Albany Stakes under Darryll Holland.

On Saturday 25th the impressive Ripon winner Queens Revenge holds an entry in the Listed Empress Stakes at Newmarket. We hope she goes well, she was certainly unlucky to be pushed so wide in the Hilary Needler at Beverley.

28th APRIL - Both filly's looking good so far
CLIVE COX reports Gentle Sands to be doing well at his Lambourn base. She certainly looks the part according to Clive but, understandably, he's not pushed too many buttons at this stage. We'll learn far more when paying our next visit to the yard in a couple of weeks time. ED McMAHON is also happy with his un-named Gagajulu filly by Multiplex. I saw her this morning at the yard & she looks a well made filly with good size. Ed is just getting to know her right now but the good news is that he's very happy with what he has seen so far.

7th APRIL - Multiplex has his first 2yo winner
MULTIPLEX sired his first winner, from just 3 runners, when QUEENS REVENGE won a maiden at Ripon. Despite looking green & missing the break the filly won very cosily under David Allen.

Our GAGAJULU filly has arrived at ED McMAHON's yard in Staffordshire. She'll be given a couple of weeks to fully settle in before doing anything too energetic.

It was good to see CLIVE COX pick up a Listed event with JIMMY STYLES this afternoon at Doncaster. His yard has started the season of in great style which is most encouraging for all concerned.

1st APRIL - Clive gives a good report
CLIVE COX has given a positive report on our ASINARA filly. I'm told she has settled in very well, her temperament is very good & she moves very well on the gallop. She will be named next week.

24th MARCH - Arrival at Clive's
Our Asinara filly has arrived at Clive Cox's yard in Wiltshire. She only got there today so will take a few days to settle in but, when Clive is ready, we'll pop along to see her do some work. The other filly, by Gagajulu, will be moved to Ed McMahon's yard within a fortnight. Exciting times, we are not far way now.

7th MARCH - Good progress report on the two filly's
Richard Kent today issued an upbeat report on the two Multiplex filly's. Pleasingly Richard is very happy with the pair, both are doing nicely, maturing well & working away in good style. Richard will speak with Clive Cox & Ed McMahon early next week to agree a date for transfer into full training.

Once they have bedded into the yard(s) we'll be sure to have a couple of exciting mornings on the gallops to see each filly work & to hear what the trainer think about the filly first hand.

16th FEB - Multiplex filly sold for 130,000g
A MULTIPLEX bay filly foal, out of SHEMRIYNA, was sold for 130,000g at the recent Tattersalls December sale to Hugo Merry Bloodstock. This further enhances the stock of the sire Multiplex

21st MAY - JACKAROO FORM FRANKED AT TIPPERARY
Eskimo, beaten an easy 2 lengths by Jackaroo, won yesterday at Tipperary to frank the form.

4th MAY - JACKAROO STRENGTHENS THE PEDIGREE LINE
ARDBREA LADY, the half sister to our GAGAJULU FILLY, was a top class racehorse with a 2nd placing in the Irish 2006 Guineas & a Group 3 win on her impressive record. Her first foal JACKAROO, sold as a yearling for 230,000, made his debut on Saturday at Gowran Park. It was highly encouraging to see this Aidan O'Brien inmate sluice home by a cosy two length winning margin. Significantly this race is used by the O'Brien team to expose a top class juvenile. Just three years ago Mr O'Brien unleashed 2000 Guineas & St James's Palace stakes Group 1 winner HENRYTHENAVIGATOR in this very same race.

We are thrilled to see the pedigree lines to both MULTIPLEX fillies is gaining strength with some impressive racecourse appearances.

3rd MAY - AMEER ENTERED IN THE LINGFIELD DERBY TRIAL
AMEER, a close relation to our ASINARA FILLY, has been entered into the Lingfield Derby Trial on Saturday 8th May. Ameer's form from Newmarket looks very decent so we shall watch his progress closely.

19th APRIL - AMEER GIVES A HEALTHY POINTER
The pedigree line for our ASINARA FILLY got a very healthy boost when AMEER ran an excellent 2nd to Cordinated Cut in the Tattersalls Timeform Trophy at Newmarket last week. Winner (won 135k) & second (won 55k) finished six lengths clear of the 3rd.

Asinara comes from one of Baron G Von Ullmann’s top German families; she won her only two year old start, and only ever ran twice. Her half brother Ameer was purchased for £240,000 by John Gosden on behalf of Sheik Mohammed / Godolphin.

It's quite possible that Ameer should have won the race as he was pushed into a clear lead by Frankie at the furlong pole but seemed to wander & idle. He was hunted down by the Fallon ridden Cordinated Cut close home.

Richard Kent will be issuing a full update on the fillies in May but the signs they give at home are most encouraging. Both have got ideal conformations & have grown nicely.

26th NOV - MULTIPLEX THE SIRE HITS THE HEADLINES
MULTIPLEX hits the headlines in the Racing Post due to him being an immediate hit as a first season sire.
